抑郁症是威胁人类健康的全球第二大常见疾病，目前仍缺乏客观的诊断、治疗指标，同时发病机制尚不清晰。非编码RNA 包括微小RNA、环状RNA 及长链非编码RNA，其异常表达会影响人类多种疾病的进展。近年来，越来越多的证据表明，非编码RNA 在抑郁症发展过程中发挥着重要作用，且其功能与机制得到了初步验证，可能成为抑郁症的潜在诊断和治疗靶点。本文归纳总结了上述三种非编码RNA在抑郁症中的表达特征、生物学功能及临床意义。

Depression is the second most common disease burden worldwide that threatens human health. However, mechanisms underlying the development of depression remain unclear. Besides, there is still a lack of objective diagnostic indicators and specific therapeutic targets at present. Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), including microRNAs, circular RNAs, and long non-coding RNAs, play the important roles in gene expression and involve in the progress of human diseases. In recent years, a large number of studies have shown that ncRNAs are associated with the development of depression, and their functions have been preliminarily verified, allowing them to be used as the potential diagnostic and therapeutic target of depression. This review mainly summarizes the biology functions of ncRNAs as well as their characteristics and clinical significance in depression.
