精氨酸-胍基丁胺代谢的研究进展

摘 要:近几年来,随着对精氨酸代谢的研究,发现除了存在精氨酸-一氧化氮代谢途径外,还存在着精氨酸-胍基丁胺代谢途径。该反应由精氨酸脱羧酶催化,在体内有广泛的分布。这两条代谢途径间存在着密切的相互调节关系。

Advances in the research of arginine-agmatine metabolism

Abstract: Arginine metabolism plays important roles in development, physiology and pathophysiology. Many recent studies have shown that there is a novel alternate arginine metabolic pathway (L-arginine-agmatine) besides the pathway (L-arginine-nitric oxide). Agmatine is an amine derived from the decarboxylation of arginine by arginine decarboxylase (ADC). Agmatine and arginine decarboxylase have been recently identified in various mammalian organs and tissues. There is a close inter-regulation between the two pathways for arginine metabolism.
