miRNA与炎性相关疾病

摘 要:MicroRNA (miRNA) 是长度约为19~22 个核苷酸的一类非编码小RNA,通过降解mRNA 或阻止mRNA 翻译在多种生理过程中发挥作用。炎症主要出现在拥有血管系统的活体组织中,当组织受到损伤影响时会产生抵抗反应,消除对组织产生危害的因子。然而,有些情况下,也可能会对组织自身产生损害。近年来,已有研究表明,炎性相关疾病在出现和发展的过程中与多种类型的miRNA 有密切联系。miRNA通过与相应靶基因结合调节炎症相关的细胞因子,在炎性疾病的发生和发展中发挥重要的作用。所以,亟需对上述类型的miRNA 展开系统研究,从而为治愈与之有联系的炎性疾病提供可靠的理论依据。
 
miRNAs and inflammation-related diseases

Abstract: MircoRNA(miRNA) is a class of small non-coding RNAs with 19 to 22 nucleotides in length. miRNA plays an important role in human physiological processes by promoting the degradation or preventing mRNA translation. Inflammation occurs mainly in living organisms with a vascular system. It attempts to resist damage by hazard factors, but in some cases may result in damage to the organism itself. In recent years, numerous types of miRNAs have emerged as participating in inflammation-related diseases. miRNA acts on target genes and then regulates the disease-associated cytokines which are closely involved in the development of inflammation. Therefore, it is crucial to systematically study those miRNAs in order to provide a reliable theoretical basis aimed at therapeutical approaches for inflammatory diseases.
