长链非编码RNA与脑衰老的研究进展

摘 要:长链非编码RNAs (long non-coding RNAs, lncRNAs) 参与调控诸多生命过程,与大脑发育、脑衰老以及脑衰老相关疾病的发生与发展密切相关。因此,发现lncRNAs,预测并研究lncRNAs 的特征、结构、功能和作用机制,有助于我们更加系统、深入地了解lncRNAs 参与调控生命发育、衰老和疾病发生发展等过程的功能机理,促进lncRNAs 的相关成果向临床治疗转化。现就lncRNAs 和脑衰老相关lncRNAs 的研究现状和研究思路进行综述。
 
Recent advances in long non-coding RNAs and brain aging

Abstract: Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) involve in the regulation of many biological processes, and are closely related to the development and aging of the brain as well as the occurrence and development of brain aging associated diseases. Therefore, the work of finding lncRNAs, predicting and analyzing lncRNAs’ features, structures, functions and mechanisms will help us to comprehensively and thoroughly understand the functional mechanisms of lncRNAs in regulating development, aging and the pathogenesis of aging-associated diseases. Furthermore, it will promote the translation of lncRNAs' basic research to clinical therapy. Here we summarize the latest studies of lncRNAs and brain aging-associated lncRNAs.
