Caspase-3基因表达调控研究进展

Caspase-3 是细胞凋亡过程中发挥重要功能的凋亡执行蛋白之一。Caspase-3 介导的非凋亡功能也倍受关注。Caspase-3 发挥功能建立在酶原活化基础之上,因此,大量研究关注于caspase-3 的活化过程。然而,越来越多证据显示caspase-3 基因表达水平变化与诸多疾病过程密切相关。因此,就caspase-3 基因表达调控相关研究进行综述,介绍caspase-3 基因及5'- 侧翼序列结构,并从表观遗传水平、转录水平、转录后microRNA 作用、翻译水平等层面介绍caspase-3 基因表达调控。

Caspase-3 plays a pivotal role in apoptosis execution. Its non-apoptotic effects have also been paid increasing attention. Copious studies have focused on caspase-3 activation process, since it exerts function on the basis of zymogen activation. However, accumulating evidence demonstrates that level of caspase-3 gene expression is associated closely with disease progression. Therefore, it is beneficial to review pertinent studies on caspase-3 gene expression regulation. We firstly introduce structure of caspase-3 gene and its 5'-flanking region, and then illustrate how caspase-3 gene expression is regulated from epigenetics, transcriptional, post-transcriptional microRNA, and translational aspects.
